BEAUTY ADVICE FROM THE PROFESSIONALS

This intricate black and white image was painted on the American artist Craig Tracy during my bodypainting collaboration with him in New Orleans.The design illustrates the fleur-de-lys and the wrought iron work which is a feature of the architecture around the city.
I applied the main black background with a large artist's brush for a smooth finish. I then worked on the wrought iron design with a smaller brush, starting with the lightest colour and blending towards the darkest colour, before finishing with the white highlights and black shadows.
